Fuck that, they can smoke my pole. Ill do them but Im not going to do the job I did in the past. Ill do them 1/2 assed at best. Just another good requester become a jerk weed.
don't do that. if it pisses you off, don't do them at all. turn in shit work and you're helping push them away from posting more, and it's pretty obvious people are still willing to do the work. it's also pretty hypocritical to badmouth the requester and then still take their money. if you don't like what a requester does, stop working for them and leave negative TO if it's appropriate for the situation. plus, half-assing the hits will only make the job harder for people who end up doing the professor hits. AND you should not post comments like this on the board where requesters can read them. it can affect our relationship with many requesters who have nothing to do with rubin.
They can puff on my pole too! (NO HOMO). At .20, it's not worth it much. Shit, I can do 5 medcrowds in the time I do 1-2 Rubins. Only reason Ill do em right now is cause there's not much out there at the moment.
As Sasquatch said, you never know who's watching. For all we know, there are a few requesters here reading this, who are no longer trustful of mTurk for quality work.
I emiled him and posted on another forum, that he posts on. Total fucking BS. This is the same shit netmsi has pulled, amazon requester and a number of other one time great requester. I really wish I never emailed them and talked with them in the first place about releasing these to every fucktard in the world, they should have had a limited qual, which would have kept pay up, as well as work quality. hell I'm the reason you under 10k or with out a masters even get to do the hits. A 3rd pay cut is major.
Its like netmsi, you all would have busted a nut years ago. They started at 15 and 30 cents. For those of you that want me to edit my message. NO
I can't agree with you on this one. They where paying $0.20-$0.50 a minute, and now pay $0.10+ a minute. It still meets our standards. The issue isn't the pay cut, the issue is what they were paying before. The company behind the HITs could be running low on cash, and cutting the pay may have been necessary for the HTIs to stay up. I had the same reaction at first, but now that I take another look at it, it's not something worth going crazy about. It's even possible that the pay-cut now is being done to make more HITs available later, or will be readjusted to the other HITs, as they can take longer.
you really have to stop living in the past. okay, it was better here years ago. we get it. you remind us almost every day. but honestly, wtf can you or anyone else do about it now? the way you're going, you're just making it worse. seriously. mturk is an economic market. requesters set their prices and turkers set their standards for what they think is acceptable pay. if rubin keeps lowering the pay, at some point people will find something better to do with their time. some kind of equilibrium will be reached, otherwise, either the requester loses out on workers or the workers lose out on pay. and it's an attitude like yours which is 99% spite and 1% reason that leads to the worst-case scenario.
In re: Rubin What are people doing when the college doesn't offer courses in the request (e.g. electrical engineering). Do you skip/return or submit with explanation? Thanks
