I've tried 3 times to buy this item http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002GZ052/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 and every time it tries to charge my card instead of pulling from amazon payments. I had a similar issue before and then all the sudden it worked. Can anyone explain this to me or does amazon payments just like to screw w me?
It's annoying how they do it but you have to go to payment settings when you're on the review page right before you finalize your order for it to work I don't know why it isn't just automatic

You answered your own question. They want you to use that other payment method of theirs (gift cards). Glad it worked out!
It is a messed process. They made it difficult when it should be very easy. I just go to the last page and see the total with shipping then transfer that amount to a gift card then go through the checkout again using the giftcard balance. Ridiculous we have to do this if you ask me.
