ugh i hate it when they load a batch, i get to work, find some easy schools to work with, then BAM, hundreds more hits, can't find my schools anymore...
For the Rubin find the professor info hits, do we put the URL where we found the professors email or the url where we found him as the professor for the class?
Screw set masters... I cut my MTurk teeth on those. They helped get me over 1000. I got my wife on here to try to get her started and they upped the qualifier to 5K. Now even I can't do them anymore.
I can never find the professor name/email and course information in the same link. These Rubin HITs frustrate me because it ends up taking 7 minutes for 30 cents... Didn't he used to pay 50 cents? That would actually seem a lot more worth it.
You're lucky if they are EVER on the same link.... But the more you do these the quicker you can do them.
yes they were 50 cents before. do a few to begin with just to find class schedules that are easy for you to work with. some are like pulling teeth, some can't even be accessed without having a student login. some on one particular lms DO give email addresses, so if you find those, stick with them. otherwise, google or use the department's homepage or the school's faculty directory to find emails. the majority of schools with reasonable scheduling systems and websites should take no more than two minutes...
Have you left him any feedback that if he broke his batches up into individual schools that it would be a much easier task for his turkers?
