This is what amazon had to say about the rejects from that slee: I'm sorry that you are experiencing difficulties with slee on Amazon Mechanical Turk. Our policy is not to interfere in disputes between Workers and Requesters, and as stated on our site, all approvals and rejections are at the sole discretion of the Requester. I understand that you feel a Requester has unfairly rejected a HIT, I would suggest you contact them to see if you can work something out. In this case, I have provided instructions on how to reverse the rejections to the Requester, if they choose to do so. To work this out with the Requester, you can contact the Requester through your Dashboard (https://www.mturk.com/mturk/dashboard) by clicking the date you worked on this HIT and then clicking on the Requester's name. After you have sent your message, you may need to wait a few days for a reply. Some Requesters do not monitor their messages every day. I hope this helps. Thank you for participating in Mechanical Turk.
Only problem with the Rubins are that these community college HITs are atrocious and impossible to find compared to the larger universities. ugh.
i just wish it wasn't so many schools. i have 16 schools open and i still have to skip 10-20 sometimes just to find one i'm working on....
Very fair point. I'll slowly work them back in, making sure to search long enough and provide adequate explanation like I always have. I'm just a bit apprehensive that they may have this attitude and they're controlling the rejections.
Has anyones .40 rubins approved yet? I have a lot pending and not sure if I should continue doing them.
Give easy ratings about which food you think children like. Requester: Taylor Holubar Time Allotted: 15 minutes Reward: $0.25 GOOD TO! https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...Words=Taylor+Holubar+&minReward=0.00&x=15&y=5 Trust me this is a fun one! Took me about 8 min.
if it's my children the answer is easy : nothing for 1 and everything that isn't nailed down for the other
Yep, I'm getting really frustrated. I spent 7 minutes trying to find emails for two adjunct professors. They don't have any information on the internet except their RateMyProfessors page. This is like the fourth or fifth HIT I've done today where I couldn't find the emails.
