Ok, I admit, I did try some powerset hits after hearing how horrible their rejection rate is, but they rejected ALL 8 hits that I completed for them. I went slow on them as they were the first I've done for them and I wanted to get them right. Head the warnings: AVOID POWERSET!
I beg to differ - I had the exact opposite experience with Powerset actually ... they approved all my HITs and to date I've done hundreds of them. I think the thing with Powerset HITs is that within every single HIT they'll put in at least one (or more) deliberately nonsensical results to catch those people who don't pay attention while doing these HITs and if you miss catching any of these deliberately nonsensical entries then you'll get a rejection for sure. There are also some HITs where you have no idea what the query is asking and it's probably best to avoid this - if the query itself is nonsensical then you wouldn't know which of the statements within the HIT are nonsense put in deliberately by Powerset to catch people submitting random answers and which are the actual results you're supposed to evaluate since they all look the same ... LOL ...
I am not the only one who has had troubles with them, I know. I also know there is no way I made a stupid mistake on all 8. I did read them carefully, and I knew about the gimmes ahead of time. While it is possible I made a mistake on one, maybe two, I highly doubt I made a mistake on all 8. It seems to be that if you make a mistake on one, they reject all that you do for them, which is not right.
Thanks for the tip. Damn, I hate when I'm loosing time doing big HITs such as writing 500-words articles and then they get rejected. Don't you, guys?
I have had absolutely no problems with powerset, and have done hundreds of hits for them, with no rejections. That said, I do pay attention to what I am doing.
Same with me, I don't have any problems with rejections on Powerset. They in fact helped me increase my ratings.
