The main problem with my transcripts was "OK" and capitalization errors and punctuation. I hadn't really read the style guide properly while doing transcripts. That is why I got a "6". But it's going good with editing so far (after having read the SG a hundred times and bookmarking it) and I even got my quals up. So, its all good.

Have to agree with you here. Mturk is primarily by and for US folks. The quicker one understands it, the better (and easier) it is for him/her. For everyone whinning about being 'unlucky', please understand it is a free economy. If I want a work to be done, I also decide who does the work. Be content with what you folks can get. And oh, mturk can never be your primary source or substitute your primary source. Its just an add-on. Don't agree here. I dunno where 'standards' come into picture here. What sort of 'standards' are you talking about here? If its the quality of work, a person's stats would speak for itself. Sorry for going off-topic. I just couldn't resist.
I beg to differ with this point because Mturk is a primary source for me and has been for a while. Yes, there are good and bad weeks, but it is possible to support yourself through turk
