Just curious how everyone likes to play it. Do you withdraw $10-$20 everyday, or wait until that amount builds up to a larger number before you withdraw?

As much as I would like to build up to $50 or so before withdrawing, the idea of putting money in my bank account (even if it's only $10-$15 per day) on a daily basis is just too hard to resists. Though I find that when I withdraw every day, I tend to spend a little bit more... so maybe it would be a good idea to let my amazon account build up a little more before withdrawing.

Yeah I can imagine it's a little different for those outside the US, and takes longer to receive the actually check. I'm lucky to be in the US and I'm able to withdraw directly into my bank account, and it typically only takes one day to receive the money after I've requested withdrawal.

Well I have read all the horror stories, today is my official 'one month' with mTurk and I have withdrawn every time there is $10 - 15 in my account. I let it go to $18 once but that's it. Usually once it hits $10 I withdraw.

The bad fact is Amazon says it takes max. 6 weeks to reach us..The good fact is we usually get it within 2 weeks..First time i got it on the 14th day and second one i got it on the 12th day..But wudnt complain a bit coz India is the only nation tht amazon pays in currency after United States :)

Yeah Amazon does tend to give time estimates that are more than what they actually are. When I request a withdrawal they say it usually takes 5-12 days, when it really usually takes 1.

I was amazed to find the transfer takes one business day. I requested late Friday afternoon Pacific time and when I awoke on Monday it had already arrived.

Mturk is to be greatly complimented for speed of transfer, whether to bank or gift card. While the work is time-consuming and not highly paid, those downfalls are at least partially ameliorated by the immediacy with which we can access our earnings.

Recently someone on this forum revealed regular transfers of .25 to 50. I wonder if much of that would result in all of us being restricted as to amounts we may request.

I let funds accumulate until a day or so before my credit card bill is due. Right now it's $66.45 and should be around $72 when payments from Casting Words catch up tomorrow. Hoping to have around $170 by the 12th or 13th of July.

That must be for gift cards I am guessing? Because transferring to bank account requires $10 minimum.

I withdraw my check between $65 to $150 usually per month and sometimes after 15-20 days.

I was withdrawing once a week until I read about some of the strange suspensions Amazon sometimes hands out. Now I withdraw everytime my account gets to $20 just in case something crazy happens.

Suspensions for what exactly? I've been requesting a withdrawal almost every day (except weekends). Usually it's for anywhere from $15-$25. Hopefully Amazon doesn't frown on that...

If you got suspended for any reason, you would loose all the money in the mturk account then. So you better transfer your earnings regularly when it reach the minimum required amount to transfer. That's what kristilec meant, I believe. You don't get suspension for withdrawing money daily. :)

Since there is a deduction fee of $4 from Amazon for cheque, is it good idea to withdraw when there is $10 or $20? Please help.

No, it's not a good idea. In the case of cheque, you better withdraw $100 or more.
