I keep getting this annoying captcha, that I cannot read. I keep trying to guess the letters, but it will lock my account each time I answer incorrectly three times. I do not see an option to get a new one like most sites have. Any suggestions?

If all else fails post a screen shot of it here and maybe one of us can help you with it.

Captchas have a semicircle with an arrow, usually to the right of the captcha. Click this to get a new one. Works every time.

No. In Mturk, you will see the same captcha until you solve it. Well, in different styles indeed.

In mturk, I find the above described icon for changing the captcha as mentioned. Don't other people see and use it too? Odd.

I hate captcha. Some of them are so hard to read I don't know how they expect anyone to tell what it says.

That is quite strange. I have never seen it in Mturk. Can you post a screen shot if you see it again?

Certainly would be happy to provide a screenshot if I remember and it appears again. I wonder if I am seeing it only on surveys, rather than mturk. Hmm. Sure seems like it's been on mturk. Will be watching [if I remember].

Even i dont remember something like tht where we refresh it for a new captcha code..

When the captchas is hard to figure out...I usually try a new HIT wherein the same captcha appears in a new manner often readable than the previus one ...

If somethin as u said exist..It wud be nice if u share the screenshot of tht pointing out the option to refresh captchas..Would save a bit of time for the turkers :)

This is how a captcha appears in Mturk. There is no refresh button anywhere around it.

Yes, I see those regularly. Perhaps the captchas in the little boxes only appear in surveys. If so, my apologies for suggesting otherwise. I am and was thinking of the boxes that say literally, Captcha, and can be changes to sound if needed, etc.

Yeah that would be a survey's Captcha. As for mturk's Captcha I'm pretty sure there's no way to get a new word. But if you can't read it you can always open a new HIT to get a different view of the word.
