Has anyone had the luck of getting a large batch of HITS from this requester?

Basically you are shown an image of a piece of mail, and you just have to type in the company name, the name of the recipient and the address... the best part is that as soon as you begin typing the company name, a list of options comes up and the company is almost always in it, so you just click that. Then there is a dropdown list of names for the recipient, so more often than not you just select the name, and address, then submit. Pays 2 cents for what is about 10-15 seconds of work usually.

I've done about 100 total for this requester, and all were paid within about 10 minutes, no rejections. Only problem is they seem to only go up a few at a time, I have yet to see them posted in batches of 100s or 1000s.

Occasionally they will post larger batches of 2-3k, but I have only seen that happen with the HITs where you enter the customer's information into a form on a 3rd party website to remove their name from a mailing list.

They are a good requester but the work is very sporadic.

Although the available HITs have been limited, this is a good requester IMO.

(Note: For some unknown reason, they usually have one 'false' HIT that remains posted with an error message that says: "The page you were looking for doesn't exist." Of course, just ignore that HIT. I don't know why they haven't removed it.)

They have at least 2 types of HITs.

    __________

The type of HIT that you mentioned is generally easy and usually quick to complete. Here are a few points that I thought might be worth noting about these HITs.

(Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with the requester. My comments are based on my understanding and are not official or authoritative. See the instructions displayed at the top for each HIT.)

In addition to the company's name and the recipient's name and address, you are asked to enter the "Customer number" if it is visible and legible. If another number is shown nearby as the "offer" code or "source" code or "promo" or "key" code etc., enter that also. When these numbers are present, entering them (carefully!) can add a few seconds to your completion time.

If the recipient's name or address does not match any of the drop-down menu selections, then you can enter the name or address manually (select "Add new"). (I have a question about the 'exact' matching rules but I haven't yet asked the requester to clarify.)

In some cases the company's name may be partially obscured, or there may be some question regarding the exact company name that should be entered. Occasionally (not too often) it might be worthwhile to find the company's web site if that can help to resolve some uncertainty.

A checkbox button and feedback box are provided to report issues, e.g.: the company name cannot be clearly identified, or the recipient's name or address is unclear, or the photo(s) show mailings from multiple companies. You can also enter a brief explanation of the problem.

But if only the customer-number and/or offer-code number are not shown, that alone is NOT a problem and does not warrant check-marking the trouble box (IIUC according to the instructions).

2 options are provided for each displayed photo:

    (1) You can open the image in a separate window. This shows the image in its full size (and original orientation). (If that image is too large or too small, use your browser's zoom control; e.g., in Windows, hold the Ctrl key and roll the mouse-wheel.)

    (2) You can rotate the image. Caution: The rotation might clip/crop part of the image! (This is a flaw in the design of the work UI for these HITs.) So it is better to use the 1st option to open the image in a separate window if necessary.

    __________

In this requester's other type of HIT (not always available), you can help someone to "opt-out" of marketing mail from a company.

The HIT shows you a contact-form or a mailing-options form from a company web site. You are given information and message text to copy-paste into the form.

Be sure to check the instructions displayed at the top for each HIT.

Of course the various companies' contact-forms and mailing-options forms have different designs, layouts, fields, options, and requirements. These differences can slow your progress at first. Practice helps. (Don't go too fast; stay careful and accurate!)

Caution: I think there may be a problem with the work interface for these HITs. Sometimes one or two of the Copy buttons might not work; or perhaps one Copy button may take data from a different field.(?) After pasting, check carefully to make sure the correct data was copied from/to the appropriate fields. When a Copy button malfunctions, click-drag-select in the source field and use a keyboard shortcut (e.g. Ctrl-C) to copy.

Important: After submitting the company contact form or mailing-options form, wait for a 'thanks' or acknowledgment message to appear. Copy-paste that message into the HIT's last box, as requested.

(Occasionally, you may encounter a contact form that doesn't give any acknowledgment, or the message cannot be copy-pasted, or rarely a contact form may malfunction. In such cases you can enter an appropriate explanation.)

While working on these HITs, I have occasionally encountered a different type of contact form which raised some other questions that I won't detail here. In any case, if you have questions that can't be answered by re-reading the instructions, you can try contacting the requester.

I've completed a number of their HITs over the past couple of weeks. I've enjoyed their consistently fast payments, and I received a helpful reply to a support inquiry.

Customers have to pay when they send their mailing labels to Catalog Choice for processing. For $6.95 you can send them up to 15 different pieces of mail for them to process by using their MailStop Envelope.

Yes, they do have a couple of paid products. But if you check the home page it says:
Free service to opt out of catalogs, coupons, credit card offers, phone books, circulars and more.
