Today, although I haven't quite given up turking yet, my projected earnings are $9.15 (mostly due to a few surveys, RER and Medallia). 106 out of 401 approved. July 12th; $9.50 (287 hits; 125 pending) -- a few surveys, RER, and Intuitive Analytic. July 11th; $6.45 (138 hits; 1 pending) -- a few random hits, RER. July 10th; $3.24 (79 hits) -- RER and one random hit. July 9th; $26.45 (664 hits; 1 pending) -- RER, Medallia, a few surveys. July 8th; $5.96 (26 hits; 3 pending) -- a bunch of random hits and surveys. Took what I could get that day! July 7th; $2.63 (18 hits) -- random stuff, Redwood, Catalog Choice, Tagasauris, nothing fancy. I am a penny-hitter mostly. It adds up, and it gives my brain something to do. It likes short tasks right now...my concentration has disappeared over the last year!
Real Estate Research! They're my favorite requester at the moment (at least until I hit their $500 limit). I think you need to have 1,000 approved hits to qualify, plus pass their test. They've always approved me in the same day, and more often than not, paid the same day as well. Oh - and all 401 of my HITs today have been approved, including a big ole' batch from Medallia!
At first I was a little afraid to try them, but I figured that I have a fairly decent grasp on sentiment and what might be considered positive, negative, or no opinion. It freaked me out a little bit to see so many "negative" sentiments in one batch, and there were a few that seemed more like suggestions than something that would seem negative -- but I guess I picked the right option by going with my gut. These are the quickest penny hits I have found so far. I did 8 Two Lakes Research hits earlier this morning and loved those... but man, I dunno if I can do any more Oscar hits after RER & Medallia. Medallia pays less but it's SO much easier than trying to read a sometimes-blurry business card. (But he's still a good fall-back option!)
