This requester had a HIT up which stated at the end they would block workers after taking participating in the study and that it would not negatively affect the workers account. It also stated they would take the block off after the study was closed. Can they do blocks without negatively impacting accounts?

Yes they are called soft blocks and don't hurt you- they just keep you from repeating a HIT you already did. I like it when requesters do that so then there's no chance of a rejection for repeating a HIT. Good for people who do a lot of surveys.

Thank you. I was nervous about submitting the HIT but a soft block sounds much better than being rejected later on!
