If anyone has answers, tell me as I also get paid by one site through amazon gift vouchers. They are not of much use to me, and my repeated requests of an alternate payment method are falling on deaf ears. According to my info, if you order from amazon, you end up paying heavy duties/taxes.
Shaliniraj, you might be able to find some Amazon Marketplace sellers who will ship to India. They're the items that don't say "Ships from Amazon" but "Ships from (SomeOtherSeller)", or you can find them by clicking on the "Used & New" link in most listings. Once you find a product you want to buy and someone selling it, contact the seller and ask if they do international shipping. Sonica, these gift vouchers you get paid with, do they send them to you as codes in your email? Unlike the money we make on MTurk, those codes which people send you can be used by anyone, so you can sell them and get real money instead.
I have never requested payment and this site does not provide any detailed info about how they will pay. They have a list of different amazon sites which operates in different countries like US, UK, France, Japan and Germany. I can get my certificates converted to any of these currencies for using at a particular site. I have just two options - take certificates or donate to charity. I don't have any more info about their payment policy as they have never replied to my queries.
