I'm from India and have been turking since 2007. I used to be a member on TN but didn't really like the ambience there. Well, I found this site not too long ago and after lurking around for a bit, I decided to sign up. I've been reading some of the posts on here and for the most part, everyone seems so friendly and welcoming and ready to help. I hope to also be of some help on here and look forward to interacting with you all more in the future. Bye for now
Hi and welcome, Carol. Funny how many people mention the atmosphere at TN. I was never a member there as I chose this forum over that one (on mainly visual grounds) when I started Turking and I am so glad that I did. It's a very supportive, helpful place.
Thanks Stlrfn, bredeanf, interneteditor and bins. Wow, I really feel welcome here!!! No Stlrfn, I doubt anyone would know me from TN. I was one of those people who never posted much and as a result, out of the blue, lost access to most of the forum, not that it bothered me much as towards the end I hardly visited there anyway. This place seems so much more nicer and I hope to post more often here. @interneteditor: TN used to be much better in the early days, or at least when I first joined it, but then unfortunately slowly but surely it got to be what it is now.
