I was wondering who your favorite requester is and why?

Mine is Elad or Tal, they had a lot of easy hits at a good rate.

That's hard to say, since some of my "favorites" were one-timers. I like doing some of the blog posts which actually ask you about some of your experiences. I also like doing some of the surveys because they are very thought-provoking. There was a morality survey the other day that was quite interesting.

I've had a lot of good work from Powerset. They pay almost immediately.
I've also been doing a good bit of HITs from Neeraj Kumar but he has yet to pay me for any of my hits. They're still pending.

Mary Murtha is one of my favorites. It could just be that her hits are related to Marketing which is one of my interest areas so I enjoy hers quite a bit. She's also very nice to work with and will respond to messages, so I'm happy to snap up any of hers I can find :D

Some of my favorites are powerset--they pay fast and VERY reliable, Information Locators--they do pay, although they can take up to 2 weeks to pay, Casting Words--they pay fast also.

Some of the others are the askville questions, and most of the find phone numbers or email address hits.

My favorite one was the Patent hits for Paul K. Graham. You learned something interesting while doing the hits. He was great with communication, and he paid quickly. I hope he brings more of his patent hits back soon!

I really liked one that I worked for... the HITs said it was just testing the system, so I only got to do a couple...
It was spelling correction. I am an editor and can correct spelling in my sleep, but, heck, even some of the product descriptions on amazon have incorrect words, so I'm sure that limits the effectiveness of tagging and searching on the internet; so I really think there should be a pretty big market for something like that. ;-p

    decent to work for

These guys had some really good hits. I wish they would put some more hits like those up again. I was really scared since my first three rejected, but then the whole 200 or so hits that I had left approved about a week later.

I also like some of the amazon requester hits too.(when they don't have the captca) They pay well sometimes and they also pay quickly.

My favorite requester is WhassupJack. He pays almost immediately and his pay is worth the work. I like doing posts that are over a dollar and he provides that.

Pity we can't search by a requester name.

Most of the ones that I have liked were one time shots.

    Rapheal Mudge

My favorite is Mudge, as the hits are fun where you need to test new websites and get paid very soon. There are some questions to be answered about your experience and give suggestions about improvement.

I finally got paid by Neeraj Kumar. He approved every hit I submitted so all the one cent work was definitely worth it. I made like 2.19 for 219 hits. He usually has a ton up at one time. Does anyone know what kind of program he's planning to make with the information? I think it's some kind of facial recognition program but I'm not sure.

I don't really have a favorite yet. I guess I would say that whoever is the quickest to approve and pay. I will definitely check out the requestors you all have mentioned and hope to work with them sometime.

My personal favourites are Content Review (the 3 cent image moderation HITs) and AEI.

I used to like AEI too but not so much whenl these sneaky buggers cut the pay of their HITs from 8 cents to 7 cents =p

I have been doing mturk for six months now, and with trial and error are some of the good requesters

QuestionSwami- really quick and easy and paid within the hour!
Todd Dickerson- ok, at first he rejected a lot of my stuff as mentioned, however he has an auto-approve so I never had problems since
Charisse- Great to work with, easy work for the pay, (usually pay within the day, however I just did some work a week ago and they are still in pending status.)
Al Richards- Easy a lot of time to look up stuff but form is easy to fill out
Petro Media- EASY EASY EASY and the hits are 5.00 for only 250 words ( I have not seen any up for a while)
Of course the best thing I would do is to do one hit and if it is approve then you go with it... This is how you can tell if it is a hit or miss.

Also... I heard that there is an auto-approve if the hit is not approved within 30 days. Now I never had a hit past 30 days before that was not approved so I am not to certain on this tip.

Hopes this helps and happy Turking!!

To be honest, the ones that give me some feedback have been the ones I've liked the most so far. When I get great feedback I feel better about the work. Feeling better about the work makes me want to continue to do a great job for that person.
