Today I came across a hit titled - Make fun of Ross Wilson. The instructions are as follows: Make fun of Ross Wilson 1. Create a user account at http://209.123.234.153/reeelapse/index.php 2. Search for posts done by user Necrometer -Go to link: http://209.123.234.153/reeelapse/search.php -Under search for author enter "Necrometer" -Find a post created by Necrometer. -Post must have been created at most 15 minutes ago. 3. Create a video of yourself reading out loud Necrometer's post. -Video must show above your neck, you can wear something (e.g. a mask or bandana) to cover your face if you want to conceal your identity. -Use a nasally voice while reading Necrometer's post. 4. Post video on youtube. 5. In same thread that Necrometer's original post is in, create a post that contains your youtube video. -Video must be embedded. -Do not provide a link to video. -Your post must be created within 45 minutes of Necrometer's original post. My question is, can a requester post this kind of a hit at mturk? Does it violate any policies?
Yes it violates policies since it is content creation & requires posting to youtube (which could be considered marketing) and since it involves going to another site.
