Pipo, I need help. Im relatively new to mturk. recently I got an email for mturk that notified me that a requester had sent me a qualification notice. I had never requested that. I was told 'contact the requester for more details.' But then no email or anything was given me as contact. I tried to search the hits for something similar, nothing. so what was the meaning of that email? How do I contact a requester? any ideas??
crask, Don't fret, it's nothing. All is means is that you are able to work on a certain requester's hits. They may not even be hits you'd like to work on. What probably happened is that you did hits for a requester who liked your work and gave you a qualification to do some new hits he/she posted of a different nature. That happened to me recently too. You can view your hit qualifications on mechanical turk by clicking on "Qualifications" at the top of your page, and then clicking on "Qualifications Assigned to You." This will show your qualifications and who gave them to you.
