Has anyone had a problem with their abandon hit rating? I'm new and still learning throughout my 10 day learning period. So far in 3 days, I have 93 hits. 90 Approved, 3 pending, 0 rejected. But my abandoned hit rate is at 7% because I keep encountering glitches or not being able to complete a task due to computer error. Anyone having this problem or have a solution?
When you can get back to it, go to "HITs Assigned To You" under the tabs and return the HIT - that'll keep it from being abandoned.
There's a link on top called 'HITs Assigned To You'. You can find all the hits you've accepted here. Make it a habit to check that tab frequently and also just before you sign out. You can surely reduce the hit abandoning rate.
I believe it is Technical Glitches. But I thought if you Returned a Hit, then it would count as an Abandoned? So if not that will help me!
No. Returned HITs and Abandoned HITs are two separate stats on the dashboard. A returned HIT is just that: returned. An abandoned HIT is one that the timer runs out before submitting.
Abandoned is when you accept and never submit or times out on you (beware of low time allowances for that reason). Returned HITS do not count as Abandoned.
