Hi, I'm new to turking, from what I understand to have more hits available to me I need to get over a few milestones. 1k hits is a qualification that I run into quite a bit. Can you recommend a few regular hits that I can use to get my hit count up. I've tried the Redwoods and they seem to take me a long time, due to a word or two in there that I can't transcribe or understand what the person said rather. Thanks for any help in advance.
Most of the batch hits that are safe enough to use to boost your numbers pay for crap. Oscar only pays about a dollar an hour, but you won't risk rejections doing them, so they're a good way to boost your numbers. Once you get over 1k, I'd recommend never doing them again, though, except for stat repair. Catalog Choice has never rejected a submission of mine, but they don't seem to post in large numbers, anymore. NetMsi posts a lot of their fabulous 'name that porn' type hits, but be careful on those, not doing very many at once and making the titles as varied as humanly possible, because they've been known to mass reject somebody now and again. Francisco Tirado hits can be good number builders. PPC WWBP, too. That's about all I can think of.
If you are just wanting numbers do redwood hits. Easy, fast, and they don't reject. They only soft block if you screw up a bunch. Honestly oscar is crap for money and numbers. I can only manage 50-60 oscar cards an hour. Do redwood in between good hits. Have fun and good luck.
I used RelevanceQuest when I was starting, but I haven't seen them on in a few months. I keep hoping Houdini is a great one, some hits do have restrictions but they pay in 24 hrs.
Thanks again for the help... @2muchturkin, I've tried a couple of those redwood hits, maybe there are multiple different ones to do, but the "type what the audio clip says", I listen to them over and over and after only trying like 3, I always get a couple words that I can't quite understand so I end up returning the hit. Any suggestions for that scenario?
Do not do them ones unless you have to. My 2 favorite are the 1 cent review transcript which takes 10 seconds or less to do(you just click on the parts of the transcript that are wrong. mispells, missing words, missing commas, capitalization, etc.). The other one is the basic caption requirements review which pay 1 cent but are very very fast to do. They repost both of these anywheres from every 1-5 minutes all day long. Just refresh your search and have 'show newest first' selected in the search choices. Edit: Hope this helps. In between doing surveys and such search for and do these. Your number approved will climb quickly each day if you stay at it.

How do you get rid of a Redwood soft block? I'm assuming I have one since any Redwood I try states - Hi, at Redwood Tech we strive for quality results. Your work so far has not met our standards and we’re sorry, but you cannot complete our HITs anymore. The thing is they have never rejected me so no clue how I got that
