I got an email from this requester stating that they were doing a workshop yesterday, June 30 and during that workshop, they would post some hits on Mturk that would pay higher than usual, apparently for the purpose of that workshop. I was invited to do some of those hits. unfortunately I was indisposed and wasn't available at the stipulated time. I'm just wondering if anyone else got that email and what those hits were about. I can't remember what kind of hits Moritz Sebastian posts. Did anyone see the hits and work on them?
I got an email some days ago, but it wasn't regarding this HIT. Yesterday there were some HITs (maybe 2, not sure though) from this requester titled "Short Survey" paying $0.20 with a bonus of 0.50 to the person who submits the best idea. Got paid for the HIT+a small bonus.
I did a few of them. They were ideas for things~one was a 'formable' lightbulb that you could shape however you wanted. One was about recyclable light bulbs and lamps. You just had to tell what you thought about the idea, in 5 sentences or more. Oh, I got the email too letting me know ahead of time, and an email after, thanking me! Usually I find his HITs when I search under 'survey'.
