I took the test. It was easy, so I will be shocked if I don't pass.

    Hi.
I'm glad you took the test. You'll pass...
Tell me when you'll know. :)

I'm still getting conflicting messages when I try to do a HIT. When I try to do the test hit I get this message, "This HIT is currently reserved for workers who are NOT CopyText Bronze workers.
You have CopyText Bronze worker qualification, please take the hits reserved to you (title: 'Copy text from images. Simply type the text shown.' without 'TEST')"

So, I try to do the "Copy text from images. Simply type the text shown." HIT, and I get this message, "This HIT is currently reserved for Bronze workers. You are a not qualified to work on this HIT. You cannot access this HIT at this time. Try others of our HITs to gain better status."

In one message they are telling me that I'm a Bronze worker and in the other they are telling me that I'm not. I'm confused. :/

I have taken the Bronze worker qual. test but haven't heard whether or not I passed.

EDIT: Ok, I just noticed that there are 2 different Test HITs. I accepted the other one and got this message, "You did not succeed this test.
You did not succeed this qualification test and are not able to retake it."

I know for sure I never tried that HIT so I don't know how I could have failed it.

Well, cattcali209, I don't know the answer for you. :)
Did you check your "Qualifications assigned to you", and see if you have the Bronze qual from CopyText Inc.?
Probably the TEST HITs are not different, but have the same content.
Is possible that your performance was good, but not high enough to let you pass on both.
That makes me guess : you may be qualified just for one of them and the HITs "assigned" to this one.
Is possible that you tried to accept HITs "assigned " to the other one, where you are not qualified.
When you see their HITs again, try to accept each time, until you'll find the right batch. Then you'll know how to...
It's just a guess. Anyway if you got the message that you have a qualification, then you'll be able to take their HITs.
Or, who knows maybe they still work internally and that is why you get these messages. Keep trying.

I stink with these hits. I keep getting warnings and rejects and not seeing the error. Example:

The given instructions have not been respected. You've typed TOTAL 50 Articles(s) 105.42 instead of TOTAL 50 Article(s) 105.42.

I see I added an s at end of Articles but a reject for that? I did worse on other hits for them and didn't get a reject but got a warning instead. I think they just reject to not have to pay?

    No.
No way, they are not scamers. Don't even think about this!
They don't reject not to pay us!

Indeed you typed "Articles(s)", instead of "Article(s)".
I'm pretty sure that after the price 105.42 you may have forgot to put the euro sign.
This one can't be put in feedback for some technical reasons.

Another reason for rejecting this HIT is for sure that this one happened to be the next from a series of numerous HITs with errors when they gave you just a warning.
Just check your feedback, and you'll see.
Don't be upset; just a little more attention. :)

Hint: I used feedback as lessons. I learned a lot how to do these HITs, by reading feedback, where they practically explain what you did wrong. Use feedback in your favor ! Learn, to become very good. :)

I did email them about it and it was due to a tone of errors they said. I got a lot of reversed spellings I guess. I got dyslexia so even when there are errors I tend to not see it right away. Sometime not for a few hours. I guess this is not a task for someone with this condition. lol They were very nice about it and did investigate the situation for me and that's when they pointed out my backwards spellings. But due to number of errors we both agreed this isn't for me. Oh well that's ok at least they confirmed what I did wrong. I looked at those warnings a ton of times and took me forever to even see the errors. So I guess it is my brain being dysfunctional. Thank god for spell check. lol

If you have dyslexia perhaps data entry is not the right career for you? I can be a little dyxlesic (<-- har har) at times and if it happens I wouldn't expect a requester to accept it.

I'm very sorry to hear of your dyslexia.
I'm glad that you convinced yourself that they are not scamers, and rejected you just based on your errors and not in order not to pay you.
Anyway you are a fair person, coming back and explain that your suspicions were not founded.
Congratulations, not many persons like you. :)

This requester should pay more for the work that is being asked for us. Yes they are easy but the work is worth more that the $.02 we get per Hit. If you want to do that much work for such little pay, stick to Oscar Smith Hits which pay the same and never rejects over the smallest of typos. Patricia, why do you push these Hits so much?

    Welcome again, Bertha.
Still suspicious ... No reasons ...

I DON'T push these HITs so much.

Is this so hard to understand?

I opened this thread on workers behalf, on the HIT I like most - like others, who opened a thread on their favorites .
I thought that may be workers who did not meet the HIT, and might like it , just like I did.

Did you ever think that even with a 99%, we are not all allowed to take all the HITs recommended with effort and goodwill by other nice members on other threads?

I did not say to anyone: Pleeeeease, take these HITs.

I always said: there is a qualification running, you better take it, 'cause this will allow you access to CTI HITs, in case you like the HIT and in the future you'll want to accept it.
Doesn't seems to you different of what you accusing me by pushing these HITs sooooo hard?

You just "pushed" me Oscar Smith's HIT.
Thank you. I know the HIT and I do it from time to time. Simply.
It's not about the money, I simply like better CTI HIT, even both are same data entry type.
    JUST a matter of taste.

As a parentheses , never crossed my mind to go over a member and accuse him/her of "pushing so hard" Oscar Smith's HIT, or other requester's HITs.
I understood that these are the HITs he/she likes most to work on.

Taste is not a subject for discussions. You like something or not. That simple!

As for the moneys- Oh, yes, moneys are good... but not everything reduces to moneys! Sometimes is good to work for pleasure, too... and if this brings you also some moneys... Oh, great !!!!
    JUST my opinion...

    P.S
    ;)
When my "favorite no 2 " will qualify again, I might start a thread on this one, too... Then, "no 3", "no 4" and soooo on.......

    I think Bertha's question was well-founded.

    That's it?
    Do I miss something?

naturegirl, seems that you also have a favorite HIT, and a thread on it ! Good for you!

    So what ?
We're different, look different, think different, like different things.
But that is the engine that start a conversation, isn't it?
How boring if we'd all think the same!

I see your invitation, Patricia, to say more. :) I think whether or not I choose to, my actual meaning will get lost in a sea of propaganda---in fact, that already seems to be happening. Unfortunate.

So no, but thank you. Bye, now.

    :)
    As you wish...
    But... is it fair?

    ************************************
I always advised people to get as many qualifications as they can.
This gives us a larger number of HITs when searching after "HITs available to you". Having the qual, allows us to choose after that, the HITs we want to work on, and the ones we don't want to work at a particular moment.
But if we're not qualified , is for sure that we can't work on that HIT, even if we want to...
Don't know why is so hard for you to understand such a simple thing ........ :)

    **************************************
    .... There's nothing to say, naturegirl !
    Nothing.

No a scammer wouldn't try so hard to research what happened and so quick to respond. I use to do data entry as a full time job and did good enough work to get promoted to QCA. I always been aware of it but it's never been this bad. Maybe it gets worse with getting older. lol I have been doing good with the other data entry hits though. So I don't know what happened with them and why so many problems. I love data entry so I guess I'll just take my chances and if I start getting rejected from others at least I know it's me. lol

Being so used to data entry, maybe a little bit tired, too, I guess that you didn't payed so much attention to details. It happens to me sometimes, too.
Anyway, I like that you try to stick to what you like to do, and don't give up .
    Glad for you. :)

I did the qual based on the "good" reviews here but after doing 3 of the regular HITs, these absolutely blow. The pay is right on par with Oscar, even if you can type over 90 words a minute. It would be fine and dandy if you were doing a single one for $.02 but of those 3 regular HITs I did, not a single one was under 5 different lines. For $.02.

Just another requester paying slave labor wages... Ick.

    Hi ratgrrl.
As I said before, this HIT doesn't require necessarily speed typing.
Main require is to respect instructions provided - spaces, currency, lower or capital letters.
Of course , there must be also a certain speed on typing, but if typing with errors, means work is poorly done.
Disadvantaged both requester and worker, when standard required is not achieved. What's the point then?
