yea i agree.. i'm glad i got the warning.. i have been saying in another thread that i e-mailed her and asked for tips, or if she wants me to not do the hit anymore.. i'd rather have that conversation than get a block or mass rejection or lose the confidence in from a requester. but hell i had no idea i was doing so bad on these!
If this is true, oops! I've been putting them in Non-Profits as well. I didn't notice she changed it.
Actually, I think its awesome she is sending us emails if we aren't up to what she wants! Too bad more requesters don't do this! I have emailed her several times before... and I have always gotten a prompt response. (Haven't tried on a weekend, don't think she works then.) So far, I think she has been a dream requester!
Hi All, I hear there is some discussion about the last batch of HITs, so wanted to drop by. Can't quite find that new thread (sorry!) but here are a few thoughts on the latest batch...I appreciate your kind posts, and have enjoyed all the work thus far. I hope that folks give these HITs a try before saying no, but understand any choice to skip out. While I'll be quiet for a bit after this last batch, I'm working to get a steady stream of HITs up here if at all possible. Thanks, Catherine From an email to a turker recently... It is a fair sentiment to want more for the added Zip Code request, but 5 cents / HIT is all I can offer for these. I think I was very generous with bonus's and approved all HITs in past batches, and approved incorrect answers, so I think (and hope) that the added Zip isn't unreasonable for these HITs. Additionally, you'll notice that the Industry for this batch is very very easy. (Many schools, govt, etc -- so that work is/should actually be easier.) Thanks again all.
Thank you for the response. Personally I don't find the 5 cents to be TOO bad of a pay rate, certainly not quite as high as the last batches have been, but I can knock them out in a fair amount of time I believe. My question is regarding the zip code for things like government agencies where there are various locations... in some cases there's no way of finding where the "headquarters" are for that agency when multiple addresses in different cities are listed. If you could shed some light on what you would like in these instances it would be appreciated, and next time I come across one of those situations I will leave a note in the comment box.
I am glad to see you on the forum! The thread in which we discussed the pay was the Can't find good HITs? 10/2 thread in the Great HITs forum.
