Hello everyone. I'm new on this forum, and relatively new to M-Turk (I've been doing it for a little over a month). I have a question. From what I've noticed, on Mondays and Tuesdays, the number of available hits goes down considerably. The rest of the week, there are an abundance of them. Is this a correct observation? I'm asking because, being new, there are certain, quick hits that I do, that I'm comfortable with right now. The PhotoMod hits follow this method. Those two days out of the week, there are none, then from Wed. on, there are a bunch and they keep adding them. A couple days ago, I found some "find broker" hits, that were fun and paid really well. They were only up for a day and then gone, never to return. Same with the hits I was doing yesterday, "Type 3 form entries into 3 form fields.' They were only up for a few hours, then gone. I turk everyday, being unemployed at the moment. Could someone please tell me what type of formula the requester uses to post hits. It would be greatly appreciated. Veteran turkers would be better suited to answer this for me. Thanks.
Requesters post HITs when they need work done. It's as simple as that. You can have a requester posting HITs for a week, then nothing for months, and then return. You can have a requester who posts HITs every day. You can have a requester who posts HITs only once a week, and so on. There is no pattern, they post it when they have it available, or when they have the time for it.
one thing for sure - there will less work in the weekend atleast the most preferred HITS will not be available.

Hits wont come back Those tasks are gone, i guess they are not coming back so early now. This happened before too, they were out for almost a week. Now its already been two days.
