Pissed. My balance went poof! A little under 7.00, but still? It says I have an "Account Balance" but no "Disbursable Balance"??? WTF does that mean?
I have been withdrawing for months now, all of a sudden balance just disappeared. I contacted them and asked what was up, no reply yet. I guess I should heed the warnings that as soon as you have reached the threshold to withdraw, do it because they take it? I would rather wait until I can transfer to my Bank Account and not Amazon GC, I guess that is a bad idea.
I usually cash out when it reaches it's minimum which is $10.00. I transfer it to my bank account or if you happen to be buying something on Amazon, it will use that balance no matter how much you have in it. No minimum if buying from Amazon. I just learned this today. No clue as to why your balance disappeared. Best wait it out. I'm sure it'll return. My balance goes up and down all the time throughout the day. Could be because I have a business account and they are trying to make sure I have enough for them to hold onto in case I have disputes with a customer.
Did you purchase anything on Amazon recently? Same exact thing happened to me, and I did not initiate to use Amazon Payments for the order.
I get the sarcasm but this isn't Amazon. Call Amazon. If I have a problem or a question about my money on Amazon Mturk, I call them. I get you're frustrated that no one is responding but we aren't Amazon employees. Search the forum threads to see if you find any answers.
Yes I purchased something on Amazon and the balance payment box was checked meaning that it was to be used toward my purchase which was fine. You have to uncheck that option if you don't want Amazon to take that balance toward your purchases. It's in the payment option when you go through the checkout. After my purchase, my balance was zero.
Sorry I know it's frustrating to not be getting too many answers. From what I understand the disbursable balance is only usually applied to business accounts, that's why you're not getting many responses since most of us don't even have that on our accounts. It seems the balance jumps around a bit when you do have it though. I saw a thread about it awhile back, may be the same thing going on with your account, hope it helps http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?2718-Ello&highlight=disbursable+balance
Same exact thing happened to me even though I told them not to take the money. Check ur credit card statement and see how much Amazon took.
In this case, that was fine with me because I was earning the balance toward that purchase. I rarely buy anything on Amazon so I wanted that box checked. If you don't want them to use your balance, just uncheck the box. It is automatically checked during checkout.
I didn't, and I hadn't done any work for months and months (years actually). I started transferring money out after my first day back.
