Yesterday My account and Some of friends account was suspended by No reason,One of My Friend receive the email give the reason "We regret to inform you that we have suspended your Mechanical Turk account effective immediately. This action was taken because we received repeated complaints from Requesters regarding the quality of your work. In particular, you were blocked by several Requesters."its was the email from Mturk team My All accounts was suspended yesterday ,i earned $1200 in 3 month,in suspending time i have No balance,thank god for it.Can i create a new account????????????.in that day windrowed $350.and I received the mail.So any Problem to my windrowed money..I am A Indian...Please Help me Friends:
Can you give a heads up on which requester's you had been working with at the time of you suspension?
That's really sad. Hope you weren't working on loads of HITs that required writing skills (just saying). I wonder (although I shouldn't be wondering but knowing the facts, since as per one of the myths here, I'm an Amazon associate. What I despise more is such delusional people limit their imagination to just an associate. Why, oh why, can't they put me in the role of an administrator!!!) what's the real reason for the suspension.
It states that you can only have one account registered so that is more than likely why you have been suspended.
Hello. My account was suspended too, today, and I don't know why. I was clean, not having multiple accounts, nor been rejected by any requester.
I always Worked with Dolores Labs some other requester that i wish not to say to all.... You Must Contact with mturk and i am Sure you will get the replay for ur suspending.
There are many reason for suspension, such as 1- You are an Indian (For more information read this http://www.mturkforum.com/showthread.php?t=1367) 2-You have many account 3-You are an Indian 4-you are an Indian 5-You have earned more than an Indian deserve (Other thinks like that, my thinking is opposite) Sorry nobody can help you, as you deserve only consolation and many amazon's employees are doing hard work like you and me (guess why?), you receive their reply soon. . . . . . . . . I guess you have got many consolation. Really hard working people. No offense!
The guy holds multiple accounts (which, apparently, is a violation of mturk policies) & even mentioned: Did you notice any of that? Maybe not because it doesn't exactly support your propaganda here, right? Oh well, let's just blame it on mturk saying that they're lying about the guy being blocked by several Requesters. That would suit you more, won't it? However, I'm eager to find out what you got to say about him working through multiple accounts. Hope you're having an amazing conspiracy theory up your sleeve. It says that you are only allowed one account ever. If you get that one suspended I guess you can say that you have run out of luck. It means be cautious of who you did work for. If you knew you didn't write well you shouldn't be doing writing HITS. You should have done a better job in the first place been more choosy about who you worked for. I only have a handful that I will work for right now. I search for them first and do their work and only their work. I have tried others and gotten burned now I stay with my regulars on a daily consistent basis.
yeah mturk again rock,,,my first and last account was suspended with very sucking reason,,anyway message from amazon says that i never can create a new account,,, ok i accept that,,but my question is,, " can i create a new account with my father's name and identity proof,,?i also use a different email... senior members kindly concern my question and give feedback with your great experience,,,
I don't think he cared for any of that. All he cared for was to make bucks quickly, no matter how. In the process, he got too greedy & ended up killing the golden goose.
I don't see the use, truakittylover, of giving him advice regarding Hits, if he can't work on MTurk anymore athuljames, nobody here will tell you to go ahead and do something illegal (impersonating someone else). :rolleyes:
@Tiger, any point in answering that question? Even if they create new accounts, work for a month or two and maybe get one payment, it isn't going to help as Mturk will suspend their account again and maybe block the IP.
Well my account just got suspended for not putting in tax information..which I already put in..when I go to the tax information page it says verified...I have contacted them...but who knows how long this will take
this thread is from 2010, and i think only one of the posters is still active in the forum. if you've been suspended, do you know why? is it because of the number of blocks you have received? is it because amazon wasn't able to verify your information? I would NOT recommend trying to make a new account to try to get around this, new accounts aren't being created for members outside of the US at this time - as far as I know.
did you get an email stating that they could not verify your address? my account was suspended for that reason. it's in good standing now but I had to give them a previous address as my primary.
