Hi Friends, I am new here. I am from Kerala, India. I would like to know whether a check sent by M turk will take more than 9 days to arrive. I have already received 3 Checks ant it take only 9 days to arrive. But the check that was sent by them on 14 August hasn't arrived yet. I don't know the reason. Is there any one experiencing the same Problem. Why don't they send it as a registered post?
For me, the time duration for the arrival of cheque has varied from 1 week to 5 weeks thus far after receiving the email wherein they inform us that it's been mailed to us. However, they mention that if you don't get your cheque within 6 weeks after you receive the email (that informs you that your cheque has been mailed), you ought to let them know about it through http://www.mturk.com/mturk/contactus.
Dear Friend (Justfight), Thank you for your reply. I am in a great confusion, Whether anyone got the check and they exchanged it. I get in to M Turk through a company and when I enquired them about this problem, they said If it went to someone's hands with the same name (Ummer Gadhafi) then they can clear the check and also said the address has no value here. I would like to know whether they print the address on the check or not. I am in such a tension , so I don't remember whether it was printed on the check or not. When I went to Post Office they asked Why they are not sending this as a registered Post? Please give me an earliest reply.
I have no experience of that sort. Sorry buddy, I'm ignorant in terms of your further inquires. I'm not quite knowledgeable about banking stuffs; whenever the cheque arrives, I simply hand them over to my parents. But my mom told that the address ain't printed on the cheque. However, because of your account number, someone else (even with the same name) can't clear it. Mind it, technically, all this is hearsay Guess tiger, sonica or some other Indian member can be of more help here. ATB.
