I have been doing HITs for many months now and all of a sudden yesterday the view of my HITs that I have already done has expanded..making it difficult for me to view all my HITs at one time. Does anyone know how to get it to collapse.

    Thanks,

    Marji

Where exactly do you see this expanded version? On your Dashboard?

It is where you look at your ACCOUNT at the HITs you have done. They are listed by day and when I click on the date it used to open each one and list them collapsed but now they are all expanded..and even though I click on HIDE DETAILS it doesn't work. This also occurs on my HITS page and makes it hard to look at the listed HITS because each HIT is about 8-9 inches long expanded.

    Thanks,

Mmh. Mine are all "collapsed". Never seen what you describe.

And I don't have a "Hide details" or "Show details" option on that page. Still not quite sure what you mean. Do you have a screen shot?

Duh, I just figured out what it was. I had used an ADD ON for Fire Fox for Turk Opticon and because it has been hacked and not working, that is what was causing the problem. So I just uninstalled it..that is why Mturk was working okay in IE because I hadn't installed it there.

Too bad because myself and many others rely on Turkopticon to know the status of REQUESTERS and whether or not to do their HITs. I may not work on Mturk anymore until the Turkopticon is back up..I certainly don't want to work on hits for 4-5 hours and none of them pay me!!

I also work for ChaCha.com and make money there too.

    Thanks for your input.

Alright, that explains it! I don't use the Turkopticon add on, only look requesters up on the website.

Another good source is the Turker Nation forum, sometimes also this one, although there's less traffic here.

On the Turker Nation forum you can often find info about requesters and other people's experiences with them. And if not, you can open your own thread and ask. I get more valuable information from other turkers than from Turkopticon.

I have used Turk Nation forum but Turkopticon was smooth and fast, I could go there and just get hits with all the GOOD requesters and move one. But of course someone had to screw up something that was working!!!

    Oh well.

    Thanks again,

    Marji
