    QUOTE "THIS HIT WILL PAY .50 CENTS"...

    I have already done this survey, so can't do it again. Here is my question......

    Right there on the very top of left page it says "$1.00" only after you open survey, it says .50 cents. Is this legal/good to go? Seems pissy to me.

    All of mine were accepted and paid too, but they still blocked me with no reason why.

    It doesn't detect Java and I have Java. Something's wrong. Would have been nice though.

    I'm actually running Linux. Wouldn't work in Chrome but worked for me in Firefox.

    I would be EXTREMELY careful doing ProductRnR they are by far the sleaziest requester on mTurk and they will block you without a bit of notice and you can email them all you want they will never respond. Many, many, many people have done thousands upon thousands of their HITs only to be mass rejected and blocked with no warning whatsoever.

    That was kind of fun - considering all I know about music is what I like and what I don't, it was surprisingly easy as well.

    I have that problem with chrome sometimes too, had to do this HIT in safari and it worked.

    I said the exact same thing early this morning in the thread since we have a lot of new people.. trying to put the warning out there I would hate to see people get burned :(

    I was lucky in that I only got a hard block and no mass reject, but other people have been fucked even harder :(

    They are to be treated with caution to say the very least, and if I were you I would steer well clear.

    I was lucky with only a block as well. Nearly 100 HITs done, 2 wrong and that earned me a hard block. Quite frankly I'm glad they blocked me I suppose it's better than being mass rejected and having your approval rating plummet so low you can no longer Turk.

    I've emailed them I don't know how many times now asking the block to be removed, never heard a word back.
