Hi, I cant say im a newbie to mturk because im working for nearly 3 months. But as far as the amount i have earned is concerned, im certainly a newbie. To be frank, I created my account and worked for like 2 months to earn about $100 which i think is a modest sum for a college guy from india. But one fine day i received a mail stating that my account was suspended beacause too many people blocked me. Then, with all the knowledge i gathered in those 2 months i started another account in my girl friend's name and earned about $150 in a month. But the second time my account was once again suspended stating that i had multiple accounts. I need to admit that i made a mistake of giving the same phone number for both the accounts. So for three months instead of saying i earned, its more appropriate to say i lost $250 which is some where equal to Rs.12500 (Worth a decent Samsung android phone with 3G and 5MP camera ). Is there any possible way i can get that money from them? because both the cases I had applied and was waiting for my Govt. ID to come home. So i couldn get that approved by mturk. I know what you are thinking...Having closed all the possibility, how can i expect money from mturk... yes, sadly i myself have become a reason for the loss. So, im here to explain my situation and get help from my fellow turkers. Pls Do you advice me to open another account in my dad's name and start working? if so then please help me to earn a decent say min. $5 a day to at least compensate for my losses. I have not lost hope still.
There isn't any way for you to get that money. If you make any more accounts they will just suspend those as well.
MTurk does not have customer service that you can access without going through MTurk e-mail. They don't have phone support for workers. Amazon customer service is not trained to deal with MTurk questions. MTurk is a subsidiary of Amazon, and they only have a handful of employees.
