    Dear crowd workers,

my name is Mark and I am writing my bachelor thesis at University of Mannheim in Germany at the moment. My thesis discusses aspects about crowdfunding and on this purpose I would kindly ask for your support.

Though crowdfunding is highly popular (e.g. kickstarter.com) , researchers did not pay much attention on it until today. To learn more about users of crowdfunding platforms, I am collecting data on decision making behavior concerning this matter.

I would highly appreciate if you could take between 10 and 12 minutes to support my research endeavor. To find the survey you can just search for "crowdfunding" or just follow this link:

    https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchbar?selectedSearchType=hitgroups&searchWords=crowdfunding&minReward=0.30&x=0&y=0

If you have any questions concerning the survey, I am looking very much forward to answer them here or via mail mlorch@mail.uni-mannheim.de

Thank you very much for your time and support - it is highly appreciated! :)

    Best Regards,

    Mark

Have you considered opening the survey to people outside of the US? Thank you!

    Hi maggiemw,

we thought about it but decide to focus on US participants to avoid a cultural bias in our data. It would be much more complex to analyse the results.

    Best regards
