    Great Brain Storm Idea!!! Run this by Andy. Perhaps a 10 day wait period as Amazon does may be in order to be able to post?!?! Thoughts?

    I will do the same. Still, if I could throw a few bucks towards paying the bills I would do so. Before I found this forum I didn't make near the amount that I do now.

    I would also support a short waiting period for new posts in this thread.

    This has been discussed many times before. Andy is opposed to the idea of a closed forum or thread.

    Ok, that is understandable given the desire to separate ourselves from the other forum that shall not be named. However, that is going to obviously have some issues with an influx of spammers and trolls from time to time. We need to be able to do something to combat this given that requirement. Andy and RWStein can't be here all the time. We need more mod staff to be able to clean out the turds.

    I agree 1000% with more mods to clean the sandbox.. many of us are on here daily during certain times.. kinda like taking a shift ya know..

    The best thing to do for the moment is just to ignore the trolls. They want attention, which is what they got today.

    There are always people watching, too.

    Just want to re-emphasize what is said above:

    Considering the trolls originate from other competing boards, they WANT us to close this place off, they want us to moderate first 10 posts, they want to make it harder to register. Please just report to me via PM when/if you find them. If it gets bad, there are more tactics which can be used which would not hinder accessibility.

    disabling IMG tags should be good enough as is, the only other attack i can think of would be spam or some kind of redirect (which is easy to keep an eye out for)

    Finally caught up on what everyone has been talking about.

    No, not Keystone Light, the cheapest beer I can get here in Tucson,AZ is Big Flats, I haven't tried it yet but apparently it tastes better than PBR, and it's $3.00 for a 6 pack. No really cheap beer here unfortunately.

    Big Flats isn't that bad by cheap beer standards. Walgreens makes a fine brew.
