Hate his HITs but Oscar Smith doesn't have any criteria from what I remember. Try and do as many as you can this evening. Sorry, you all are dealing with this.

Someone should start a thread about it. That'll give it more attention and just maybe the requester will see it.

    I've seen it happen.

I feel really bad for you guys. Especially the person who had 900 rejections, that is so brutal. I hope nobody finds this guys information and hounds him to death cause that would be wrong.

omg guys, this is horrible news! taking a break from this transcription, not even sure i'll be able to finish it in the four hours i was given... anyway, definitely spam amazon and the requester, the HIT never specified anything about rejecting for length of time of the hit, only instructed people to 'consider each name carefully' - who's s/he to judge how long it takes you to make a decision like that, which was so random to begin with? this is ridiculous...

Sometimes it's better when the TO is iffy or there's no TO to only do a handful of HITs to test the waters - unless your numbers are high enough that it won't affect your stats.

I really hate that this happened to you guys.

Calling amazon worked better for me. I got a personalized response in a week from someone who thoroughly looked through my situation.

They should have fucking given a time if they were expecting them not to go quickly though!

Out of the 900 i did, he rejected 420. I did all of them at around the same speed so why did he only reject 420. I mean of course i''m glad he didnt reject more but thats shady as hell.

im watching my email like a maniac

Don't you see it's all in the numbers so the guy pays off a dozen people who cranked out a 10-40 hits then with the workers who did volume of any sort over and above that he pays less than a third of the work completed. I completed nearly 500 reject number was 311. Then, he can turn around and tell Amazon we're all careless workers. Yeah.

Might as well contact the requester and see if they will give an extension, can't hurt because they're not going to get it any quicker if it get's abandoned and someone has to start at square one.

Yoiks!! This mass rejection news stinks, my sympathies to everyone who got hit hard with this one!
(p.s. this is my first post. I've lurked on and off for a bit and thought it was about time I showed myself and said thanks for this really helpful thread. I'm still learning the ropes, but I hope to start contributing soon!)
