I think this is the right time to change Mturk policy. There should be a minimum reward for the hits. I mean the requesters should not be allowed to post hits for lesss than a minimum reward. Why can't we forward a large request to Mturk Authority. I mean a combined one. Please express your views here, so that we can do some thing better.
I agree..but at the same time, I think it was only lead to requesters moving to other sites without such a restriction. How would you determine what as a "fair" wage? What is fair to me (minimum wage in the US) is not fair to another worker, as I'm undercut all of the time.
What will happen (already does happen) is that requesters will just make their HITs longer. It will be like what Dolores Labs / CrowdFlower does with their multiple page HITs.
Yes Khalinov said it right, Dolores Lab now known as Crowdflower is the requester which I hate more as they are posting HITs which need many work and offering peanuts I mean just some cents. @Nadiya Yes sis, now there are many HITs which are not worth to do. There should be a minimum reward that is acceptable to the major turkers.
