I know I don't comment on here often because I'm not a conversational kind of person but, I just want to say that I am so grateful for everyone on this forum.

I signed up for mturk in 2008. Back then, I was lucky to make $2 a day, so I quit for a while. I would come back on every several months and then quit again. I came upon this forum in September of this year and since then, because of the amazing HITs that everyone posts in the Great HITs forum, I have made more money that I could possibly have imagined.

Just 3 months ago I was on the verge of bankruptcy. I was mired in credit card debt and didn't think I could afford to by my family Christmas gifts this year. But because of this forum, not only am I able to buy the gifts that my family really wants, but I just paid off one of my credit cards. :D

Every day I am humbled by the generosity and warmth that all of you have shown. It's sort of renewed my faith in humanity. Sort of. There are still a lot of scammers out there lol.

Now, I'm gonna go to bed before I cry lol.

That's getting too emotional... Get a touch of realism into your life... You got to live for YOURSELF first... Sheer practical thinking...

Awww, First I want to say yay for your fortunate achievement! Congrats keep it up! :D

I'm grateful for this website as well. All the motivation, inspiration and the tools to help me through mturk. I needed a new computer for school and this website and job helped me reach that goal. I don't comment as much as I use to and I've seen a lot of shifting of people new and old. (only been on here since July 2012 and a lot has changed to me).

I want to say thanks to everyone as well.

Happy turking to you and everyone else here! :D

I agree, this forum is an awesome resource. Last month I made enough to pay car insurance, netflix, cell phone, internet bill, my daughters toon town subscription, and bought a couple of small things on Amazon all with my mTurk money. It was amazing being able to pay all my bills besides electric and rent with my turking!! =D

That's really excellent! Congrats to all.

I agree that Turk, when you have good information about it, really is a surprisingly good little moneymaker. And it's awesome that people are seeing that work for them.

And vijay1975, relax a little. The OP is living for herself. ;) You might want to reread her post. She now has money to spend in the ways that are important to her, and she's a found a place where she isn't afraid that most people are out to cheat her. I think those are important things for most people.

I agree with you. This website has been a life saver for myself and so many. My sappy story is I'm pregnant with my third, and this time I'm high risk with preeclamsia and on bed rest. My family can't live off 1 income so this site helps pay for groceries, our bills, gas, and is paying for all of our Christmas. For the most part the people around here are sweet, nice, and here to help each other out. Like everywhere, you have a handful of rude snobbish folk, but I've learned to just ignore them. The holier then thou people are here working just like the rest of us, so they are no better. Good luck to your family and have a wonderful Holiday season!

This is a very nice post.. I stopped posting hits on the forum recently because every time I did someone would complain they either they did not pay enough or were not fast enough to do.. and it was mainly the lurkers who popped in rarely who would say that stuff.. it just became annoying to me and frustrating so I stopped being useful in the forum all together. but reading this I may reconsider becoming active again..

Great post.. keep on turkin :)
