    Hey folks,
I'm new to mturking, I've been doing this about a week, and I have around $30 in earnings. I tried to UTFSE, but most of the searches brought up the "great hits" threads.

My question is regarding the payout. Now, from what I understand, you must be active for 10 days before you can start collecting your money. Does this mean 10 consecutive days? I took a day off without thinking about it, and now I'm concerned that I must start my 10 day 'newbie' period all over again. Is this the case or am I misguided?

Also, can USA mturkers collect via check or is it gift cards and bank deposits only? I recently closed my bank account, and was hoping to just collect a check. I was reading their FAQ section and I couldn't really figure this out.

    Thanks in advance!

You can cash out to a prepaid gift card as well, as long as it has a routing number.

As for your question, I took a break in my 10 days and wasn't affected.

Ah okay, that's a relief. So I can cash out onto a prepaid moneypak card, for example?

    Thanks for the quick response!

I personally have no experience with prepaid cards, but I believe that your card does have a routing number, so yes.

Maybe someone with more experience can back me up.

make sure you look at the terms and conditions of the pre-paid card.. many of then say you have to have a minimum deposit of $250 at a time.. not a few bucks here and there..

I have looked into western union cards before though, they seem like a good, free fit for this.

    Thanks for helping footballchick!
