Can't Find Good Hit's? 11/22

I find that if I play "Eye of the Tiger" by Phil Collins, I manage to make 20-25 cents a minute on the MedCrowd HITs.

 

Spent too much money on Amazon today. Their Black Friday sale has regularly priced, new released games marked down over 40%. Got a $59.99 game for $34.99....3 mo. XBox Live cards are normally $25 and down to a little over $10. I'm gonna be turkin all night long cause I'm not done shopping

 

I hate myself for not waiting out even a few months on BF3. I paid $110 in total.

 

No problem! On my bookmarks bar on Chrome (Firefox has one too) I have a folder dedicated to MTurk things. If you bookmark my first link in the earlier post it will only show HITs from his Requester ID. That means that even if another requester has "Oscar Smith" in their requester name or HIT title, it will not show up. It'll only show Oscar Smith.

You can get this link by visiting the search results page on MTurk of a HIT and visiting the link that is of the requesters name.

If you bookmark the page you get to after clicking the CrowdSource link in the above screenshot, you can bookmark that and be sure you will only get HITs posted from CrowdSource themselves.

Note: Small issue. Some requesters change their requester id, so this method will work until a requester decides to do that. I consider changing requester id's to be bad form anyway.

You can get around this by bookmarking the search results page (Link above, it's the page you get to after typing in 'CrowdSource' and hitting search.) ... You will just have to ensure you're doing HITs from the requester you mean to, and not from another requester that happens to show up in the search results.

For Battlefield 3??? Because if so, $110 is expensive. The game I bought today was Assassin's Creed 3. I did bite the bullet last month and pre-ordered BlackOps though.

 

With all the DLCs put together with the base game. Ooo, how much is AC3 now? I missed out on an SSD offer by Samsung a while back.

 

I use gamefly ... I figure that the price that I pay for a full year is about the same as buying about 4 games a year, so it is worth it... time to take a break and go finish the last sequence of Assassin's Creed 3

 

HubPages is my bread and butter today... working on getting that HIT count up... and *not* looking at Amazon Black Friday sales!

Almost spent $30 yesterday on lightning deals for "The IT Crowd" but realized I can stream them later once I buy a Prime membership. Whew. As a psych major I am trying to out-psych the power of the sale!!!

 

My qual is 2 points below the required number. HubPages confirmed I didn't make the cut. I would have enjoyed those HITs too, lol.

 

I tried it with my Canon rebel and it wouldn't upload. I think he wants cell phones that take in smaller formats.

 

I wonder if you can do another batch of quals...?

 

Unfortunately not. Ah well, I may wait a bit and then ask them to reconsider my qualification score and hope they let me retake the test batch again.

Smart move. I really need to set up an account considering everyone in my house uses a different gaming system.

 

You're two points under the qual, I'm two points over, they should just average it and let us both do them!

 

you should be able to upload as long as it's in jpg format, if you're shooting in RAW on your camera that'll probably cause an issue.

 

I qualified for hubpages. Took the qual test just for fun. How do they do rejection-wise?
