I did a hit for the requester- Classify this It was the one where you had to verify if the link was a webpage and then write the name of the webpage. I worked on that hit for over 3 hours yesterday and they rejected every single on. I know that they were not all wrong because I have worked this hit for a few weeks now and never had a problem. The use the same websites over and over so if it is right one day, why would it be wrong the next. I wrote them and got no response. I work Mturk but they have not responded yet. I did let the requester know that I wrote Mturk and asked the requester to please fix the problem So they blocked me. Did anyone else have problems with them?
With a shitty TO that they have (http://turkopticon.differenceengines.com/A1CTI3ZAWTR5AZ). I don't understand why you would do their HITS. Also writing to Amazon will do nothing.
I am not sure what a TO is. I did the hits because they were quick and simple and for the past two weeks paid quickly. I don't know why they did what they did yesterday.
Their HITs are majority rules which is why a lot of people, me included, don't touch them. I can't deal with majority rules when it comes to my money and my work when I know i'm putting forward quality work
davis0298 - TO is TurkOpticon - it's a firefox plug-in that allows you to view and share requester ratings. It allows you to view ratings at a glance by hovering your mouse over each HIT, helping you avoid the bad / unfair requesters. Definitely recommend looking into it. Edit: are you the one with 650 rejections? I'm horrified!!!
They rejected 379 of mine. It was awful funny considering they use the same sites everytime and they paid me before for the answers I put on those sites. Then out of the blue they rejected everything, and instead of working with me when i e-mailed them, they just blocked me.
Majority rules HITs don't work that way. A scammer goes on entering dummy info, click submit and you're the one getting burnt, even when you are giving them the correct answer. Stay away from those from now on.
