Is anyone working on any batches? I reached my limit on the crowdsources https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=25M5K4F0OHOVXT3E3IF2P93HFE5212
Wow, are the Matt Rubin hits always this difficult? I've tried 2 course hits and 2 professor hits and can't locate what he's looking for. I'm pretty good at searching the internet, but these are frustrating. I just returned the hits and wasted 20 minutes. Out of the 4 I tried, I couldn't find a way to view the courses or professors without an account. Very frustrating. I think I'll find something else to work on.
ok i'm not going to do them until that get fixed. it would seem like too much trouble to keep doing them and returning the ones where the box has to be unchecked. nooooo play minecraft
I've been doing the course ones for the past 2 days, and once you get the hang of them (know what to look for, which colleges to avoid, etc.) they take about 45 seconds - 1.5 minutes. The course at the college doesn't have to perfectly match the course info given, just has to be closely related or the same thing.

Search their name in mturk, find one of their HITs, click the black HIT name in the top left corner, then click "Contact the Requester of this HIT" in the bottom right corner.
Hmmm, maybe I'll try again. The ones I tried wouldn't even let me view the course catalog without an account. But I'll give it another go.
No problem. When I find a college that requires a login, I just start skipping every HIT for it. The majority don't require a password, it's just a stubborn few.

"Given the school name and some course information, find the name and email of any instructors for Spring 2013 (preferred) or Fall 2579" I'm having a little trouble finding that year...
do a few for the batch to see what schools are asked about, check out how comfortable you feel with their course catalogs, then just work on the ones you can search easily. it's especially useful to pick tech-oriented schools like MIT, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, etc., which have extensive computer science and electrical engineering programs, as many of the courses requested are from those departments, and most of the rest are standard for any school (chem/physics/bio/math).

So, if anyone's looking for a batch... Classify Sentences: Sentiment Expressed in a Political Statement Tim Jurka 0.05 No TO But I did a handful of them earlier and they've already approved, so I haven't had any problems.
Apparently I'm too stupid for Matt Rubin hits, or maybe I'm just too tired to think today. But I officially give up. I'm 0 for 6 and haven't even come close to finding what he wants. Maybe I'll try something from him in a few days. Just not up to being pissed off today. But thanks for helping.
Took the Top Tier Writing test. I'm hoping I score well on it, as writing seems to be the big money maker. I just for some reason cannot get into doing a bunch of batches.
