When I try to do the CS HIT
    Review: Product Question Answer

I cannot do it, for it says
"Sorry, you are not eligible to work on this project."

It would seem I'm blocked from this particular HIT, but to be sure, can I get a consensus here? Who else is getting this message?

    Thank you.

I get this pretty often, though I have a pretty good rating with many of their other types of hits. I am not all that familiar with the internals of CS, but I imagine it is based on data collected about you from an aggregate of AMT data and other CS data, so they cannot use the AMT qualification system exclusively to determine eligibility.

What are the eligibility requirements? I know there are some tasks that are part of groups of eligible users, like there are a few for only Top Tier writers. It should say something in the eligibility about that, though.

Not sure. I do know however that CS has its own independent crowd sourcing platform. I have not signed up for it, but maybe if you did it would be clearer what the requirements for some of their HITS are.

    Hi, Ovningskora,

I don't know anything about that particular HIT, but yes, that is an internal block from CrowdSource for a particular HIT type. It's based directly on your past performance with CS, so they seem to have decided internally that something about how you work meant they didn't want you on that HIT specifically.

HA! I just got an email saying there were recipe article hits I could do, but when I clicked, I got the same message. How can I be disqualified from something I've never done? It has to be a system glitch.

They did just roll out that new system for the Top Tier Writing HITs, but it seems like anything under $10/HIT still uses the old system. Besides that, the CS site itself (work.crowdsource.com) was down for a while and wouldn't let me see any of my past work.

I'd wager that you're right, AmieW, that it's just a glitch. It's likely the new system is screwing with how and when HITs pop up.

A fellow top tier writer told me that she was told that they had forgotten to give her the intermediate qual, since she was already top tier. So it was on their end, not Mturk

I get that message for their videos hits. I have no idea why I would have been soft blocked for those because their so easy. I have a love hate relationship with CS. I have made a lot of my money with them but then some of the things they do just don't make any sense sometimes.
