Then what? you return the HIT?

I hate that, when I spend a good deal of time on a HIT and come up with nothing or if I spend a lot of time on one that pays only very little. I would suggest if it takes hours for these HITS, you might want to look for HITS that are more productive for you. That either pay a little better or are faster so you don't waste your time. Your time IS valuable, even if MTurk doesn't want you to think so.
