This seems too good - $1 per hit and a lot of hits, but you have to download Firefox portable and follow some steps to finish the hit. I can't past about the 3rd step because it's "grayed out". The object of the hit is to Find Destination URLs of Ads that Appear on Search Engines. Requester is Admin 0730. Does anyone have any info? Thank you.
I've never tried these HITs, but apparently requiring the download of his portable Firefox violates mTurk's policies.
I spent at least a hour trying this and it wouldnt work right. I know a lot about computers and know I was doing everything right but wouldnt work. Got errors after sending the code. I wouldnt trust it. I was kinda afraid of some kind of backdoor caused by using his portable firefox and so on. Im sticking with surveys that are 30 cents or more.
Thanks Evan. I can't find a way to uninstall the portable firefox either. It does not show up in my programs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I tried this hit as well .. and then when it didnt work i tried to contact Admin 0730 and it said they could not be e mailed through mturk. so i showed it to my BF and he said that when you are replacing the URL your really hacking the site and removing the url and replacing it which is illegal and they know this they never had any intent on paying anyone for this hit and no one i have checked with on any of the turking blogs as of yet has actually been paid by them . this being the case please every time you see them come up report them there is a report this hit in the bottom corner of the hit .. just keep reporting them . eventually they will hopefully get the picture . they have this hit set up so there is no way for you to actually get paid for it . and no way to trace them back to the hacking job you just innocently got conned in to doing. .. stay safe and stay away from Admin 0730 hits in the future .

I've actually been paid the $1.00 for this hit one time, any other time I've tried to complete the hit it tells me that it wasn't the result they were looking for but that I would still be paid something for trying, which has been $0.05. Just to let others know.
i wasn't trying to contradict with what the poster said i was just giving my experience with them, idiot. Keep your rude comments to urself, and think before u speak. i definitely wouldn't tell anyone to do hits by them after what some of the people have said about them, but I didn't know this before I did the hit, just like I wasn't sure about those hits that are always posted for creating dating profiles until I did some research. And I just found this site, so I don't know how u started on this site, but I'm sure u started with one post lame ass.

I wasn't trying to mislead anyone, I am always looking out for scam HITs and was just trying to state my experience with them, trying to protect people is fine, but calling me an IDIOT is not, grow up. And I wasn't paying attention to the dates of the last posters, I just did a search for this HIT requester because I wasn't sure about them, and found this forum.
