Is anyone on this forum writing the hotel-related paragraphs that were up yesterday? I'm an editor and I'm trying to see if I can talk to more people writing them.
I did a few of the opening paragraph ones a few weeks ago, and I enjoyed them a lot. If they're still around, I'll look for them later on tonight when I have a quiet house. I just can't work when the house is noisy, like it is now.
Nothing's up at the moment. I'm just trying to see if I can find the people making the most common mistakes that give editors fits: use of contractions, will, and be (yes, those words are banned by the Crowdsource style guide- don't look at me, I didn't write it), and most commonly, people talking about what things can do for "guests". (The use of the second person, "you", is required in these... talking about "guests" is not allowed.)
This sounds interesting. I do a lot of freelance writing and editing. I'll keep an eye open for these on MTurk.
