Just something I've noticed reading various TO reviews over time. Read one recently that was rather baffling.
I had to quit reading too much TO, they just irritate the fuck out of me. I'll take a cursory glance to look for mass rejects and/or blocks but that's about it.
This is OP as you may have figured out. I took a chance putting this on here as it was a bit humiliating. I do appreciate the above advice the most as it is the closest to helpful. I also appreciate the person who mentioned I didn't make up a story but stuck with the truth even though it seemed trivial to some (I knew it would but I'm not into lying). I don't know why I am bothering to follow-up but I have exhausted all possibilities except for what I am attempting. I live in Portland and there is a very low rate of available housing. I would never reach the top of someones list. The only one I found wanted $5900 deposit so that's where buying came in. I know my options and it was a stab in the dark posting here. I just want to say thanks to those who offered advice at least; your efforts to be helpful are appreciated. To those who offered less then helpful opinions I'm not gonna engage with you - that would not help either one of us. Oh well, I'll call it a lesson learned and get back to work. Thanks I guess.
Keep trying. You never know where your help may come from. I think you have a lot of courage putting yourself out there to try and keep your family together. I hope everything turns out OK for you.
Thanks! It's been a real eye-opener for sure. There's nothing I wouldn't do to keep this together. I appreciate your words
