OSCAR SMITH? Does anyone know how they determine the score? I mean I copy everything verbatum and my score keeps going down?
I don't know either, but it frustrated me so I quit doing those HITS. I mean the pay is very low, and if you can't get a good enough score for the better pay, it wasn't really worth it to me.
Ah Rubin, I miss him...me and that fellow, we were tight. His head got too big and requires a 5000 hit kind of woman. We'll meet again one day.
http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?5572-oscar-0.05-dollar-hits&p=121914&viewfull=1#post121914 I followed the advice in the above post, and it works. I'm probably one of the only ones that actually don't mind Oscar HITs, but I type VERY fast and it's just like doing straight data entry, which is what I do at my full time job, anyway.
I did about 800 of his cards when I first started. Requested to get the special worker thing when my score was 95, and was told he could not approve me because of a fluctuating score. Was true, my score always went anywehre from 88-95, but never lower than 88. When it would drop, I would email and ask him for advice or to let me know what I was doing to lower my score. Asked him athat 8 times, every single time he copy and pasted me the same email "explaining things that could cuase a score to drop". Then he tells me that he can't review any of my work because the scores are automatically generated, then later in an email he says that he manually reviews each card at the end of the day. I wish everybody would never do any work for him. Ever.
I made $20 today without Rubin. I took all my eggs out of his basket. I've done nearly 1k of his HITs, guess I'm good for now.
