    also returned, same reason. Don't worry it isnt your end. I have the latest firefox and java. I am completely capable of running my computer. They don't know what they are talking about.

    on the amazon dashboard page, 'update local database' will grab all your turking history from the last 45 days. Will take a while the first time, then periodically update it to keep the info up to date.

    then when you search HITs, there are 2 letters that show 'R' and 'T' which will be red if you haven't done the HIT, or green if you have. 'R' stands for requester, so any hits by the same requester, T is for that specific hit. Hope that helps. There's a forum link here for other questions:

    It says in the body that it takes 50 minutes. If so, not worth it for a buck anyway.

    mines isn't working but maybe because i haven't updated it. the database is updating now. it takes awhile

    Also if you have google chrome you might have to update it to the beta version to work properly. It might just sit and say "script monkeys are taking a nap" and nothing will happen otherwise.

    the noise never bothered me, and ever since i stopped working full time i was never in a rush except for the occasional meeting with a client... i like being somewhere you can find large groups of people still awake and hanging out at like 4am... there's lots i don't like about it too, but i'd take it over where i am, and most other places, any time

    EDIT: and there are soooo many attractive women in the city. i think i've seen one since i moved here last year...

    search 'carto swap', $1, find/match 50 locations on a map... they go pretty fast, the nyc ones are gone but there are more for other cities...
