    the definition of previous is Existing or occurring before in time or order.

    so um, they should have had "all of the above"

    i really need to get on this alert program i'm theoretically writing. turkalert just ain't fast enough, and i need something that doesn't require that i check my email...

    ooh you're writing something to give alerts faster than turk alert? hopefully you'll share when it's done :p in the mean time, if you really need something, you should use the check4change add on. doesnt require u to keep checking the tab or your email. it's a better turk alert IMO. I set it to refresh every 5 seconds, and when a hit pops up i get a notification. that's how i caught 3 goldsmith the other day (that i ended up returning anyway).

    Eh no really benefit then just to see how much work you've done for CrowdFlower except I think they give a $25 Amazon gift card to the top earner every week. Or they used to at least.

    yeah, i need something faster and more versatile than turkalert. for example, if i'm playing a full screen video game, or on the other side of the room reading or even napping, i want something that will alert me within, say, ten seconds of a certain hit being posted. i'm thinking of a program that resides in the system tray so you don't even have to have a browser open, and it checks for hits or requesters that you save in the program and has options to just create a popup, make a sound, email your phone, or alert you in some other way. unfortunately, i spend way too much time turking to actually get started on this... after a week like this though it might be worth it to just take sunday off and work on it while i'm watching football...

    getting random messages from asher with my approvals now, like "Much, much better, thank you!" and "Note the other types of amenities I included for future reference." how can i check, there's no link! silly requester...

    ok i got a reply from my email to matt rubin about whether we should submit hits with "course not available" when we can't find one:

    "Thanks for asking. Yes, please. As long as you are confident."
