They said I answered a factual question incorrectly (but it wasn't about what they told me to pay attention to). It would be like giving someone a bunch of text to read, then later asking them what was the color of the background. If you didn't happen to notice it, you're out of luck. Now imagine that in addition to that, I'm color-blind. (In this analogy, being able to see color wasn't listed as a requirement for taking the survey.)
I would definitely send an email - just be polite. Maybe if a bunch of people contact him, he will take it seriously. You never know!
