They will suck the life out of your computer, most IP's only give 1 mbps on the upload. The HIT has to upload your sound byte. I ran into the same problems with all greens and still noticed that after the first captch it got glitchy and slow. Just a thought as well... turning off most scripts helps page loading but the Scroll to workspace is worth keeping on to mention one.
