It's not really a fear thing. It's just more fun to get all excited and point and shout about stuff when you bring someone along. That's why I figured I could try the Asbury park one easily enough without them. If I end up meeting a bunch of people I'll hang out with them. If I'm not feeling it that day I can head back home. I make friends really easily so that's not much of a hurdle. I just want someone to be all geeky excited with me about the whole thing... can't sleep the night before, have comic book arguments with me on the way there, see who can find the coolest stuff. lol it's silly. Trying to get my brother back into it. He won't have a choice soon. His kid is too much like me and spends too much time with me for my geekdom to not rub off on her.

The pics look really cool. Little weird that the reviews are saying it's funny though was hoping it'd be scary/actiony. It kinda makes me wish it was a video game too.

Did you read that reddit post about the studio trying to promote the movie by vote gaming? At 2% rating I don't think it makes much of a difference anyway.
