so the people of seatac approved the minimum wage increase to 15 dollars an hour. http://money.cnn.com/2013/11/06/news/economy/minimum-wage-seatac-new-jersey/index.html also, walmart is now spamming my inbox with cancellations of the things that I was already told was already cancelled. now it shows 2 still shipped, 1 processing. there's reports of people not getting their stuff and the shipments were being returned to sender.
I'm glad to see it's just for hospitality, etc. We already have the highest minimum wage and there's already enough employers not loving to pay that even. Meanwhile I'm currently in Michigan where the minimum wage is 7.40 an hour and I giggled when my boyfriend said he got a raise to 8.60-something an hour a while back. (Sales tax is also a lot better here. Back home it's 8.8-9.4 I think, depending which direction from my house you go. Here it's only like 6%.)
