You did a mistake. you should wait for 5 weeks to apply for reissue of check. ie. you should have applied after july 25. I think you contacted them early. That's the reason you got the withdrawal mail after 14 days.
. I contacted them on 24. I was asked to wait till 23 on my earlier mail to them.....any have now feeling better
If u get conversion mail on Tue, Jul 30, 2013 at 10:31 AM then u may receive this reissue check 2moro or day after 2moro , from my sources 3 persons already received checks 2day itself. Mine is still pending.
I get conversion mail on July 31st and hope to receive the cheque in this week. Another thing happen is that today I received the original cheque mailed on June 20. As mturk had cancelled it there is no use to submit it on the bank. So it is not the fault of Mturk, the blame goes to our esteemed Indian postal service and irresponsible officials..
Because the mailing date on the cover is June 20. And the amount of June 20 cheque and reissue cheque is different due to the variations in currency rate.
I was lucky I got an increased amount in the reissued check as the rupee value fell further, but what of rupee went strong? I think they should issue the check of the same amount as before.
Me 2 received the June 20 reissue check along with old check also..I dont think so issue with Postal Department. In this case, all the turkers who got mail on June 20 have faced delay, something happend apart from Postal issue.
After 28 days of waiting I finally got my cheque today in my post box. This was for the JULY 12 conversion.
